To further expand their ground breaking Joint Operation, which has been operating through the Shanghai Free Trade Zone (FTZ) since 2015, FenXun Partners today announces the appointment of Li Haifeng as a Special Counsel in its Beijing dispute resolution practice group.

Haifeng's practice focuses on international arbitration and commercial litigation, with a specific focus on general international trade, plant purchase, IP, construction, shareholder disputes, trade financing, labour, commercial frauds and torts across a variety of sectors. He has assisted clients on a number of litigation cases in both provincial courts as well as the Supreme People's Court. Haifeng's arbitration experience includes handling cases before all major arbitral bodies, including International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC), China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), and Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC).

Haifeng joins the Firm from China National Agrochemical Corp ("CNAC")., where he was Chief Legal Officer (General Counsel). He was responsible for overseeing the legal and compliance work of the company and its subsidiaries located in over 15 countries, including managing the team on CNAC's US$43 billion acquisition of Syngenta AG. Prior to joining CNAC, Haifeng was a partner at a leading Chinese law firm.

Haifeng is the second senior level addition to Baker McKenzie and FenXun Partners in China over the last couple of months. In May, Abe Zhao joined as an International Tax Director.
