Biography
Mr. Xu is a senior counsel in the Shanghai office of FenXun Partners. His practice focuses on asset finance, securitization, banking and financial service regulatory.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised a Thai airline in the French tax lease financing transaction in respect of an Airbus A350 aircraft;
- Advised a Chinese leasing company on the sale and leaseback and Balthazar supported financing in respect of four Airbus A320 aircraft;
- Advised a Chinese bank on the financing of certain aircraft leased by Irish lessor to airlines in Ireland, Norway and China respectively;
- Advised a Chinese leasing company on the US Ex-Im Bank guaranteed financing of certain Gulfstream aircraft;
- Advised an international private equity fund on the onshore and offshore loan financing in respect of certain commercial properties in China;
- Advised a Hong Kong bank on the privatization financing in respect of a Hong Kong listed company;
- Advised a number of auto finance and leasing companies on securitization transactions in China;
- Advised a foreign invested bank on the private non-standard securitization transactions;
- Advised an international association of custodians on the custodian regulatory regime in China in respect of the investments of QFII/RQFII in China;
- Advising a number of international funds and financial institutions on compliance and regulatory issues, including anti-money laundering, KYC rules, and marketing of overseas financial products in China etc.
